Margriet Meijer, the talented mastermind behind the sustainable bag label MONSAK, enjoys designing and creating in her cozy Amsterdam atelier. Her bags and accessories are all handmade, using leather remnants and factory overstock. Margriet believes it is wasteful to reject materials because of minor scratches or stains. She takes the time to cut around blemishes and sometimes she simply hides them from view. The result is an elegant line of sustainable leather products for both casual and formal use.
